The gentle formulas provide an alternative to other products when my teeth are sensitive due to certain foods or whitening. As long as the natural product provides the cleaning that I am looking for and a minty fresh taste, I definitely see a benefit in using natural products that are safe for your body.
Desert Essence Natural Tea Tree Oil Toothpaste is a natural toothpaste that is flouride-free, gluten-free, and SLS free. The removal of these ingredients allows your mouth to be free from artificial ingredients and instead use the natural products from the environment. Tea tree, baking soda, and sea salt are some of the ingredients used to create the mint, fennel, or ginger toothpaste flavors. All products approved for vegan and vegetarian diets. I tried the Ginger flavored toothpaste and it was a strong and tasteful toothpaste. I am not a huge ginger fan so it was a bit overwhelming. I would probably rather use the mint or fennel toothpaste. However, I was able to clean my teeth and gums gently with no irritation. I would even feel comfortable using the Desert Essence Natural Tea Tree Oil Toothpaste when I had mouth sores or cut gums. There would be no stinging or irritability while using this toothpaste. I would recommend this product to my vegan and vegetarian friends.
