Whitening toothpastes are a great way to get gradually
whiter teeth. You can either maintain your white teeth or make them whiter with these toothpastes. Whitening toothpastes are usually less abrasive and are great for people with sensitive teeth. Harsh bleaching gels and chemicals may bother nerve endings and whitening toothpastes are not as concentrated. I personally prefer whitening toothpastes and I like testing out the various brands out there for taste, sensitivity, and effectiveness.
I tried
Opalescence whitening toothpaste and I was able to see results after a week. My teeth gradually became whiter and I was very happy with the results. I like the gradual process because I can stop when my teeth are the shade that I want them to be. I experienced no tooth sensitivity which I have had in the past with bleaching gels and whitening strips. So that was a great added bonus. I could get the results that I wanted without the pain. The taste was very minty, almost a slight tinge of sensation. This could have been from the bleaching treatment but it was a very strong flavor. The toothpaste instantly lathers in your mouth and you will get a clean, fresh taste afterwards. The toothpaste also reduces gingivitis which is another benefit for this toothpaste. I give this product 4 stars out of 5 only because of the sharp taste from the toothpaste. It was hard to get adjusted to.
