Dentek Custom Comfort Night Guard Product Review
August 17, 2011
I suffer from bruxism which is an anxiety-induced nighttime clenching and grinding of teeth. I always knew that I grinded my teeth but when the dentist saw the ridges on my teeth, I had to find a solution. I have tried many
mouthguards and
nightguards. Some more comfortable than others. I prefer a softer shape which can be easily contoured and maneuvered in my mouth. I also enjoy a flexible product since its just easier to sleep in instead of a hard shaped plastic. The ultimate test is being able to sleep through the entire night with the guard in my mouth the entire night!
The Dentek Custom Comfort Night Guard was a great fit! I custom made it so it perfectly molds my mouth size, gums, and teeth. It was very easy to make. Just boil hot water, throw the night guard in for a minute, then mold to your mouth. A custom night guard made at home! The night guard is a soft plastic which is sturdy enough to align my teeth and soft enough to almost massage my gums and not bother me throughout the night. 2 night guards are included just in case you mess up and need a spare. I no longer have to worry about creating deeper ridges in my teeth, since now I just bite down on my comfortable night guard. Great product! I couldn’t live without it!

Splint… Jaw pain… Custom dental guard…
Chances are you’re really familiar with those words if you suffer from bruxism, that anxiety-induced nighttime clenching and grinding of the teeth. Even though they’re made of the hardest material the body can produce, your teeth need to be protected from each other to prevent cracking, wearing, and breaking while you bite and clench. DenTek’s dental guard gives you the quality, custom-fit protection you need.
STORAGE AND MAINTENANCE
Proper care of your Dentek Dental Guard will extend its life.
After each use, rinse the dental protector in cool water or mouthwash. Never use hot water on your dental protector as it might lose its shape.
Store in the hygienic storage container when not in use.
Cleaning and Care
After each use, brush your dental guard with toothpaste and/or mouthwash. Never rinse in hot water as it could alter the shape of your dental guard.
Replacing Your Dental Guard
All dental guards should be replaced over time. Please check your dental guard monthly for wear. If one wears out, please use the bonus dental guard included. The life of your DenTek Custom Comfort Dental Guard depends on how often you grind and the force of your teeth grinding. On average, each dental guard should last approximately six months or longer.
